Excellent learning curve, managerial position

Procurement Manger for the business unit. Managing stock warehousing of a monetary value of R16 000 000.00 at a capacity level of 4 virtual warehousing. A woman on demand within the work environment, as projects are unabel to kick off without my procurement authority. I have learnt and enabled myself to grow within the organisation also, to ensure my role within the company remains Vital and to eliminate the stock/logistics/procurement level of the business remain at a profit for the business unit and not at a loss.i have a passion for my work and evolve myself to work smart and allude time management into my daily task. my Achievement at my current position is achieving an awesome Target and Profit Revenue for the business from an analytical / procurement level. Meeting my deadline timorously.

Pros: Excellent managerial skills and procurement Manager
Cons: put in long hours and including working after hours, even weekends, manually lifting stock by myself.

Upskilled and multi tasked my way to Managerial level, driving the team to challenging heights

My typical work day to ensure Project kick off and stock being allocated accordingly. Drive the team to facilitate the project making sure the client needs are met to satisfaction based on the client requirement spec. Challenge i faced was coming from an IT experience back ground from server and software knowledge i have excelled in understanding the fibre optics / civils and health and safety prerequisites, a hands on stock manager in the warehouse and onsite supervision to procurement of all stock. This is by far an achievement on my side, that i can overcome and easily diversify myself to the job incumbent and environment to the best of my ability. I empower myself to enjoy my work to make it work for me, as 90% of my time is at work. My time being in my current role, i challenged my role from an Office Manager, to Project Administrator, to a Stock Manager and currently Procurement/ Senior Project Consultant within the period of 3 years.

Pros: Great opportunity to extend my knowledge in the Fibre Optics Industry
Cons: Warehousing environment to loading physical stock onto crane trucks.

A good experience overall

My working environment is great.I get on well with my colleagues and I am a team player.I have learnt the orect procedures to follow before a construction takes place.
