Learning opportunities, self taught

I taught myself most of everything I knew there. I felt stuck in one place the entire nine month and as a result I resigned. I had a good relationship with my co-workers and learned a lot about independence. I also learned a lot about service delivery. What I enjoyed the most was the interaction with my customers on a daily basis and would always look forward to that everyday. The most challenging aspects of my job was the long working hours. I would work twelve days and get every second weekend off. I was also at work on most public holidays.

Pros: Great opportunity to excel in customer service delivery
Cons: Long working hours

Excellent learning curve

There's no great opportunity for an individual who really wanna achieve life goals. It's not an industry for people with bigger dreams., there's a lot of comfort, the company does not even do KPI (key performance indicator). I want to be in the company that provides tasks that are challenging, as they will build an individual.

Pros: Great opportunity for beginners
Cons: Long working hours

I want to have a degree in Financial management.

I'm very friendly and kind, I enjoy working with people and meeting new people everyday. I grew up in Limpopo, I moved to Gauteng in 2017.I grew up without a mother, my mother died in 2009. I never failed or repeat a grade at school. I would like to be considered for this position.

Pros: I would like to be a payroll administrator one day day
Cons: I knock off at 19:00 during the week and my work place is far from where I stay. I arrive home late everyday and it's dangerous.

Divisional HR Manager

A week at clicks start with score card meetings where we meet with all senior managers and track our weekly progress and set weekly goals. We have different projects which we track on weekly basis. The company is dynamic and sets higher standards continuously. The environment is high pressure and demanding. There is always something new to learn as the company is dynamic. The most challenging thing is the working hours and the travelling.

Pros: Great oppoturnity for growth and constantly
Cons: Renumeration

Great learning curve, and massive experience

Clicks is a great company to work for, just like any other company it has got its prons and cons. One of the cons is shortage of staff, leading to overworked employees, longer working hours, and difficult customers in general. Best thing about clicks was the satisfaction you get about your job, doing what you love, helping people, being in a position to make decisions, great support from the management personnel, great opportunity to learn, develop, as well as to develop others. Remuneration is satisfactory, and they have great performance incentives. Great company to improve your management skills as well. With that being sad, there’s always other avenues and opportunities to explore in life to better one’s career development, as well as to be tter yourself as an individual in general. Regards

Pros: Great learning curve, Better opportunities of being promoted, and satisfactory remuneration
Cons: Long Working hours, Less time with family.

Challenging

Working as an employee at the company is rather challenging. I do not only deal with my admin, i also help with offloading of stock. Dealing with customers, providing excellent service. Handle customers. For example: Refunds Exchanges Customer Complaints Giving advice on products Taking telephone calls Making calls ...And still having to make sure that my work is done and up to date. Hence "Challenging ". I enjoy working alone, but i am a good teamplayer. I have good leadership skills. Work well with others, but if i need to be "FIRM" , i will be. Punctuality is one of my strong points. My biggest flaw is im a perfectionist. So thats why am a excellent candidate. I can be put in any situation and flourish in it. Regards J.J. Lottering

Pros: Getting to deal with different people and personalities each day
Cons: Having to repremand a fellow staffmember that is also a friend

Clicks is a great company to work for.

On a regular day, we would have our shift meeting, teas and lunches are planned out for the day, everybody has a task that they have to complete. Dealing with customers is really tough sometimes, but that is where you learn the most. My colleagues made my days special at work and I really have an amazing manager! Work is actually really fun. The only challenge really is the long hours and that there was almost no time for family. Yes,sometimes our jobs requires us to work those long hours in order for us to put food on the table and pay bills, but retail hours can be exhausting. Other than that, I learned a lot in the 3 years working at Clicks and I believe it built me for the future.

Pros: A company with endless possibilities and opportunities.
Cons: working long hours and holidays
