Leading edge technology and tool sets within the BI space. Very stressful and very demanding

Exposure to the entire Health and Beauty Retail industry within the Business Intelligence environment. Long hours with constant challenges on a daily basis. Good BI team environment with lots of opportunities to gain exposure to new tool sets. The co-operative team allows for growth across various platforms eg. Oracle PL/Sql, SAP Data Services and BO Launchpad. The continuous changing environment allows for continuous growth. The comrade within the team has been great and has seen the team work effectively as a unit.

Pros: Lots of new tools and an upward learning curve for many years. Great BI exposure to every aspect of Retail
Cons: Business delivery expectations far exceed the capabilities of the rather small BI team. Very few promotion opportunities. Highly pressurized and stressful environment.

Sedick Arendse effectively has 26 years of senior management and executive experience in South Africa, UAE, USA, Belgium and UK and has managed large multi-functional business units, which has required extensive general management knowledge and skill with respect to various retail formats, strategic management, operations and supply chain management, human resources, industrial relations,
