Applying my skills on a day to day basis

I manage staff on a daily basis ensuring that production is maintained to a high standard. I preplan what needs to happen when and ensure that we stay on schedule. I inspect the vegetable crops & forage crops on a daily basis, making sure that there are no investations of insects or fungus. As well as weed control. I maintain a strict spray schedule to prevent any of the forementioned conditions. I also ensure that all equipment are maintained & repaired on a daily basis to ensure that there is no down time. These include the following: tractors, implements, irrigation etc. I plan the fertilizer & irrigation schedules & ensure that it is applied according to the schedule. I enjoy the whole experience of farming, it keeps me satisfied irrispective of whatever challenges may occur on a day. I believe that every effort made on the farm is a learning experience and is proof in showing that the more effort you put into it, the more you gain. Not just in crops but in personal development.
