UNHAPPY EMPLOYEES

I HAVE BEEN DEMOTED TO SWITCHBOARD AFTER SICK LEAVE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY ACCOUNTANT AND DP DOES NOT KNOW HOW DEBTORS AND CREDITORS IS WORKING. I AM SITTING HERE VERY UNHAPPY IN MY CURRENT POSITION. I WILL BE OPENING THE BOARD AT 8H00 AND ANSWER CALLS UNTIL 17H00. WHEN I WAS IN MY PREVIOUS POSITION I WHOULD START AT 7H00 AND DO MY CREDITOR / RECONS AND SORT OUT PROBLEMS. I HAVE LEARNED ALOT AND HAVE BEEN IN ALL DEPARTMENTS IN THE 21 YEARS I'VE BEEN WORKING AT CHM. I GET ALONG VERY WELL WITH MY CO-WORKERS. I REALY LOVE TO SORT OUT PROBLEMS AND DO MY WORK AS DEBTORS/CREDITORS CLERK. AT THIS STAGE MY MOST CHALLANGING ASPECT OF THE JOB IS TO SIT AND ANSWER A PHONE AND CAN'T DO WHAT I WANT AND NEED TO DO. I NEED TO BE BUSSY AND MY BRAIN NEEDS TO BE ACTIVE THE HOLE DAY SO YOU CAN SEE I AM REALY FRUSTRATED AT MY CURRENT POSITION.

Pros: I HAVE A JOB
Cons: PEOPLE IN POSITIONS THAT DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN THEIR DEPARTMENTS

In general, I enjoy my job and love working here.

My days are pretty hectic, since debtors and creditors are both full time positions. I get along very well with my co-workers, we make a great team. I have learnt so much in my time working here about people. I've never worked at any company before where there are so many people with such strong personalities. Every single one a champion in his own way. What I enjoy most here, is the feeling of family. The most challenging part of my work here, is that not everything is in my hands, and I sometimes have to step back and take a moment to breath, which is difficult as I normally need things done as soon as possible.

Pros: I learn a lot every day
Cons: Salary is very low
