I've learnt alot

Educational development is good. We see over 150 patients per day which are in chronic medication as well as kids and immunizations and family planning. Working well with my colleagues as a team. Challenges would be poor growth like promotions. Stay at the Same position for many years even though you have grown and developed educationally

I learnt a lot about communication and patience

We was deploying computers at every clinic in the city of johannesburg, teaching nurses how to use a system to make things paperless. Learnt a lot on training users, being patient, creating user accounts. Testing Systems, Analysing and criticing systems and many more...

Pros: This was a great oppotunity for my career and I was very good at it.
Cons: I lost my job because I didn't finish a test in time.

Good learning experience

Subsidising for education is excellent. The poor opportunity for promotion issues can be unsettling. Working hours are perfect. Patient overload nurse to patient ratio.

I've grown and learnt alot

I work with a great team. Usually very overworked as we are a few nurses in a small clinic with an overload of clients. promotions are seldom. I've learnt alot about hiv and did niemart course as well as currently doing phc

Senior occupational and hiv nurse

Currently working as a Senior occupational and Hiv nurse basically looking at the wellness of the COJ employees doing minor elements,chronic management,family planning pre employment, periodical and exit medicals and also monitor the employees who are HIV positive.

Pros: To work for municipal gives a person a great exposure as you deal with many employees with different backgroung,attitudes,behaviour and they all have different life challenges and this improves the work experience and customer service and build the confidence at your work.
Cons: Paper bound company with a slow technology advancement.
