I strart a day with updating previous days work. team up with my colegues to counter verify decisions i took on inspections and check on specs is a proper decision was made. printing all clearances , letters and compliances . At 8:30 we then go to planning to check all submitted building pland that we check and support after 10:30 we then go to various areas for inspections only on tuesdays and wednesdays we not going out on inspections as we check and srutinise rational designs . When there are no plans we do abeyances . plans that were approved and or supported witll be then taken from our archives and inspections of those properties done . We as a team inspect all and every building especially building with approved plans .
Pros: learn everyday , team work open to research and development
Cons: lack of resources to complete other work, use old methods of inspection , no new technology

I malefetsane am an inthusiastic and hardworking person a mortivator and self starter . willing to work anytime and im a perfectionist in my work . A team builder and team player . Open and listen a lot. Im an isnpector doing building inspection , dangerous goods site indpection . layout pans , building plans and evacuation plans assessment and support rational designs daily . issue of fire certificates , fitness certificates( if its an event) and letter of compliance for existing businesses .Do admin work and reserch our work when ever needed , attend work meetings workshops AND MEET CLIENTS ON DIFFERENT SITES FOR DIFFERENT REASONS INCLUDING COMPLAINS

Cons: we use old system of paperwork and it takes up time

I would like to apply for this job. Doing daily inspections and complains .Inspection of danderous goods vehicles , ragistration and re registration. Building inspections and follow up on inspections.

Building plans support , dangerous goods vehicle inspection and registration . site inspection.Go on site visits for complains an quiries. attending meetings and organising workshops . attending work related workshops and serminars . attend ongoing worksho[ps in line with CPD points that are work and qualification related. working relations with colegues is good .we work as a team.
Pros: work independently
Cons: using old paper methords which is a problem on filling information

Daily routine
do inspection of building : new, old and used buildings . do dangerous goods inspection, enforcement , registration and re registration of dangerous goods vehicles and also do events management city wide .support building plans and layout plans .

Cons: some methods we use are slow and others very outdated

Learning environment of demanding circumstances
It is an environment that demands multi tasking, astuteness in coordination, ability to solve tasks resolve issues and loads with other entities of the city and government in the form of JMPD and SAPS, working with diverse cultures helps with understanding of the diverse ways and behaviours that workers from diverse backgrounds work and how they want or expect to be managed and supervised, the ability to engage management that is receptive to the challenges that affect the workers on the floor.
Pros: Great place to learn leadership skills, social cohesion and manage diversity.
Cons: Growth is narrow within the department,but broader in the core operational field of core of the company.
