An early start at the store to manage three build teams, going over yesterday's production update and making sure everyone knows what the program is for the day. Then it's checking mails, updating project logs, sorting out invoices and other admin work. Scheduling at least three site visits a week unless there are issues on site that require the attention of the Client Contact Representative. Its important that there are constant communication between the site foreman and other teams and once on site, I ensure that we get together so that we are all on the same page. If we have a good day, a few soft drinks and a quick sausage roll brightens up everyones spirit. All projects, no matter the size will have risk issues. It's important to ensure that the issues are not ony resolved but the processes are adjusted to ensure that issues reoccur. Motto, ONE TEAM.
Pros: Great Opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Passionate, Ambitious, Persistent (Relentless), Realistic (Pessimistic)
I manage three build teams (18 workers), three site foremen and one site manager. Three to four hours a day comitted to ensure product updates are done, Purchase Orders are raised and Invoices are sent to Payments. Site visits to ensure the teams are keeeping up with the production or the day and have the material requierd. Scheduling meetings with client contract representative to ensure that site challenges are reported and coordinating with the planner to ensure changes are captured on certified plans. I have a passion for working wiht people and ensure that my teams are motivated and feel the same way. They are constantly reminded that we are one team. Everyone makes mistakes therefor every task given has to be followed through and followed up on. There is NO short cuts therefor always delliver your best. Completing a project and knowing you were responsible for making a difference. Time restrictions when working with damaged existing infrastructure while the budget does not allow you to improvise.
Pros: Great opportunity for growth.
Cons: Long working hours

What i have learnt
Stay focussed and put your bead in the game. Its a fast pase company and you must be able to grow with the trends. Like they say change is as good as a holiday. You need to juggle your time and prioritise as you need to wear different hats for different companies and with every company you have a different position to.play.
Pros: Teamwork
Cons: Unfairness
