Broadened my knowledge in marketing

I am grateful for my current company because they have taught me so much in the marketing sector. It gave me a whole new perspective on marketing, different types of marketing and how to create exposure and brand name loyalty for any brand. It showed me what is needed to make any brand a well known name to people and how to get people involved I was a company trainer so a typical day with me started at 05:30 where we would start training the entry level candidates on the marketing system and how to use to it interact with customers. We would leave the office at about 9 to do store visits to massmart stores and assist customers in opening accounts, this required face to face direct marketing. I would take the entry level candidates with me and show them how to do it. After the store visit we would get back to the office at around 17:00 to around up the day, capture our results and break down the day with new candidates on what has been done and what they still need to be assisted with and leave at 21:00.

What ive learned

Ingaging with customers cab be exciting as it can be stressful when dealing with negative objections. There is always competition that drives sales and leads to co-workers to dislike each other sonetimes. My relationship is good with co-workers. I learned that healthty competition is good to drive everyone doing better and seing there targets. Ive learned that being humble, positive, setting daily goals,having a winning mentality and always telling yourself that you can achieve anything you put your mind to helps alot in business. I enjoy interacting with people and live doing sales. Mist challenging aspect of my job is to get everyone to like me. Team work leads to greatness and excitement. Always give it your all and best to achieve the company goal. Make sure your goals or linked to the companies. Ive also learned that you cant fit in and stand out at the same time.

Pros: I like the fact that there is opportunity for growth
Cons: Working hours was never a problem if you love what you do as i am
