Right turn for learning

It is an excellent learning curve indeed, very challenging and it builds a teacher to become firm and independent. Team work is excised. How we do our planning is out of this world. Our school believes in its Christian ethos so much that we as teachers has our days were we do morning prayers. We stand firm in our culture and make sure that learners knows why they are here and why they should be punctual and in their good behaviour all the time.

Great, Fun Place to work at

At Curro Academy Riverside, the first thing I always do is check the network connection, and network devices are working properly. I will check the Server if there are any problems. I will then go room to room asking teachers and leaners if they are experiencing problems with their laptops or 2 in 1 device. Relationship with my colleagues is great. I am able to work for both small and large team. I have learned so many things from my mentors who also handles other Curro schools around Gauteng. I came up with many challenges like installing boot operating system on the LIVA terminals for the Curro IT Labs and also teach both students and learners of how certain software/applications work.

Pros: There are great opportunities in the Curro company and promotions
Cons: Long working hours
