One has to be alert from the time the product leaves manufacturing until it is consumed.

My typical day is to ensure good stock gets to the trade on time. The sales and merchandiser teams are in stores and completing their job function with passion. Team work is of essence as we are dealing with a product that has a 7 day up to 30 day shelf life therefore first in first out has to apply. The job is always challenging and one has to up their game every day. I enjoy seeing staff and colleagues enjoying what they are paid to do as well as being passionate about the products we sell

Pros: The opportunities are endless and one has to apply oneself to make a success in this industry
Cons: Cows produce milk twice a day and we have to get the freshest product on shelf every day at the right temperature therefor this is a 24/7 business

An excellent industry to work in.Its fast and you have to think clearly

My Typical work day was to ensure all supermarkets were provided with a professional merchandising sales service. Having a large team one had to make sure relationships internally and externally were at a professional level. My personal relationship I have with all my staff is one of my strong points in getting things done right the first time. I am challenged to perform in a fast environment in order to gain forward market share as well as getting the brand to become one of the top 3.

Pros: I work well with people and passionate with whatever I tend to tackle
Cons: I hate paper work very much a hands on person
