Great career background

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS  Receiving request for appointment of a consultant initiated from one of public works region since we involve in the infrastructure side of government.  Sending request for quotation and returnable documentation.  Compiling Appointment of Consultant Committee (AOCC) file.  Ensuring that consultant are registered with Provincial Department of treasury, Companies Intellectual properties and relevant board e.g. ECSA, SACAP for supplier database management purposes.  Checking if Consultant are tax cleared.  Preparing Submission for motivation in order for consultant to be approved or recommended.  Present Project to AOCC (Appointment of Consultants Committee) for recommendation.  Sending Approval to regional offices for appointment of consultants.
