Excellent learning duties and responsibilities
I am now familiar with this current experience gained over the last two years of my internship programme from finance and infrastructure management .This opportunity has provided me with extensive knowledge and responsibilities of the work that I am prioritizing it to be my duties regardless of my position in the company, although I am not earning much from this internship but pursuing it . With strong abilities I received from this programme believe that I can perform as required to do the job. I, Mojalefa Matlabe I am willing to work hard and be productive to secure my future to help my family because my parents are not employed and the stipend that I get it helps me and my family to buy what is necessary at home food,clothes etc. Sometimes it is very hard for me to get to work because I am using trains even though it is inconvenience I tried by all means to get where I want to.

I am person who is a hard worker and easy understand with good record of problem solving .
I am working at human resource section dealing with employees benefits and also involved in recruitment of new staff and then do inductions to then and then explain in detail the policies of the department and also about he skills development of employees and also the labour relations in the institution. Also we in-service them about the conduct of employees at work. Do the terminations and transfers functions of the employees and also capture on persal their benefits when due. also do the the auditing of the employees benfits and the leave days of the employees every quarter. i learnt that you must be honest and accurate when dealing with employees and also always update them on their benefits. The most challenging aspect is when you have to correct the misconduct of employees, you must be willing to know policy to use and to face the union reps so that they can be clear that the proceedings where clear.
Pros: grading which only comes after fifteen years and also by applying when higher position is advertised
Cons: only when ther is a big project we ahev to work long hours and weekends

Operations Manager
I work eight hours a day, Monday to Friday. Supervise several health facilities, which includes facilitation, coordination, teaching, training. I enjoy assisting different individual visiting the facilities with different types of concerns, from health problems, psychological, spiritual and mental illnesses. I have a good relationship with my co-workers, always encourage them to treat individuals in totality. I have learnt that I need to treat other people the same manner I would like to be treated as well. I have enjoyed to see, an individual coming in with a problem that worries him/her and leave the facility or my office smiling. My most challenging aspects of the job, are co-workers who doesn't respect their job.
Pros: I pursuing MBA degree,which will open other doors for me,even out of Health profession.
Cons: Long working hours when it's busy days.

Eye opening experience
It is such a great honour to work at Chris hani baragwanath cause it is such a dirvese organisation were ones learns a lot if observant and willing to learn. It teaches u to how to handle pressure since is a busy organisation. I enjoy the relationship I have with my colleagues even under pressure and challenges we encounter we still manage to pull it through.

Great oromotional advantages. Establishment size 1800 staff.
I resigned from this department on 28 Feb 2014 due to personal reasons. Working for this department offered me growth and was given opportunities for advancement until I applied for a promotion post as Assistant Director HR. My co-workers was my team of staff and Management. I received lots of support from our Director and our communication was well managed. I really enjoy serving the staff that worked directly with me because my approachable manner and interpersonal skills ensured there is no misunderstanding of communication. Training and guiding Management, line managers and staff was my passion.
Pros: Had many promotuinal opportunities that I used to my advantage
Cons: Extra working hours without remuneration but I delivered my work on ime and always had a 93-95% filled vacancy rate.

schedule my daily work.My relationship with my colleague we were working as team,helping each others.Learn how to make processing of payment of voucher on WALKER system and BAS system.Generating of voucher from different of supplier.Ensure compliance of voucher from different supplier.manage the petty cash for the whole district. manage the budget for the whole district. ensure that department compliance with treasury regulations,preferential procurement policy framework act,division of revenue act,supply chain management act. I enjoying going to supply chain forum and finance forum knowing how to apply finance act and supply chain act clause. going to conditional grant review every quarter after claim subsistence travel .making presentation to my supervisor every Tuesday of a week .
