Working together with all employees as I find myself in the warehouse where all raw materials is handled and delivered to all departments. In contact with suppliers as I am receiving all goods for the company. We do weekly cycle counts and monthly stock takes. I enjoy my job as I am daily in contact with all departments and there is no day that is the same as the day before. Daily challenges are experienced with containers being offloaded, raw materials sent to production departments, in contact with HR and payroll, daily capturing on Syspro for all documentation received for the day. We

Root analysis

Mixture of all genders and ages. Combination of skilled, semi skilled and unskilled labourers. Learnership programme that runs every year with two intakes per year. Team member development through external and internal training programmes. Employees suggestions listened to and analysed.

Pros: Everyone given chance to suggest improvements
Cons: Long hours and occupied by coloureds mostly

Excellent learning curve

Able to maintain high efficiency on all running machines. Repair faulty machines as quick and efficient as possible Communicate with production manager on daily basis Be able to manage a shift of 6 people Be able to work under pressure

Always challenging

Quality is a big thing in our company so u always checking quality as you do your daily routine.u work anything between 4 and 12 machines so u always have to be on ur toes for stoppages its a real fun and rewarding enviroment.

Cons: No real area for promotion

Good career start up

It is a good company that gives people opportunity to learn. I have received good mentorship and would recommend to any one. It depevelops its people and promote how ever is not a good point to start career as they do not absorb people after internship. I have learned a lot and received good experience.
