Excellent company with a great management team which deliver great results yearly.

A typical work day consists can be split into two segments, - When I am in SA, I will start off going to the office to do monthly & quarterly planning, I will visit local duty free clients and local smaller export businesses. - When I travelling, meetings with Importers, train staff and clients, meet MD and do YTD sales reviews to track budget performances, visit the trade and form bonds with key accounts. Relationship with co-workers Small team in the International division (12), we meet once per year conference and work well together. What have I learnt Manage myself, very autonomous and have to plan our calender's and itineraries as far as 12 months ahead. I have learned to plan all my activities and manage my time to maximize profitability for the company and value for myself (bonuses) What I enjoy most Freedom to plan and perform my duties inside of a stipulated budget. Challenging aspect of the job How to stretch the limited marketing budgets

My DGB experience

A typical work day will start at 08h00 and end 16h30. During my time at DGB I had a good relationship with co-workers and enjoyed the environment . I have learnt that hard work always pays off. Although I enjoyed the work, it became very quite through lock down as all wine sales and exports stopped.

Pros: Stable work environment
Cons: No opportunities for promotion

I am working well with co-workers, my manager allows me to grow and work independently

I plan my month as i have 7th,15th, 25th and monthly payments, i priorities dates and make sure my accounts are clean and I do my best resolving and problems, i would rate myself excellent in any level of communication. Nothing intimidate me as long as we do work wel, what I've learned is that allowing people work independently they do excellent work and with your support as a manager. During cov19 i am working making sure accounts are clean no excuses of cov19

Pros: The company i don't think promote woman empowerment as 99 percent man i senior positions,
Cons: You work long only when meeting deadlines, company very flexible
