The DOS Life

Typical work day starts off with a team huddle to go through processes and procedures. Also to inform the team of what is and is not working and how this affects us and the player's The days is divided into certain tasks done by a team and what will be changed according to certain times. Plan of action determined throughout the day for spikes and technical issues. On some days, the casino is busier than others. When this happens people can get agitated, and a little irate but we always get through the day together and as effectively and efficiently as possible. This can only be done when we are all on the same page.

Pros: Shift, 3 days of work and 2 days of, expand horizons, learn new things and skills, grow and experience things out of your field, learn to work under pressure, grow and better yourself.
Cons: Shifts, odd times, no weekends always guaranteed, demanding and stressful at times.

My life at Digital Outsource Services

I started out at a customer service host in April 2015, became 2IC to my TL, assisted new starters, worked in compliance for 2 months helping out and then applied for QA post which I got. Coaching hosts on various queries suxh as - deposits, withdrawals, varying documents and various other technical queries. In my QA/Coach role I was responsible for 30 hosts. I was responsble for improving and sharing my knowledge to suite every individeals requirements to become the best they could be which I did successfully, as many of them got promoted or got leadership roles within there teams. I had and still have great relationships with various levels and departmetns within the business from management, security, cleaners, all departments. I treat everyone equaly as working together as a team and being positive is how I lead. What I enjoy most is changing someones work or personal life for the better to achieve bigger an better things by meeting and exceeding KPI''s.

Pros: Good Intelectual people, Growing company, various cultures and nationalitis, no formal dress code required, free food every day, gym, enough meeting rooms, kitchen areas and free parking
Cons: Not a big enough team to meet the set out objectives more effectively by being a bit more proactive than reactive.

Excellent learning curve

I am a calm individual who thinks positively and makes the most of opportunities that may come my way. I am a leader and enjoy working together in a team to achieve goals and exceed expectations. I am focused and a competitive individual, so I strive for excellence in everything I do. I exercise self confidence and confidently accept responsibility. I use my initiative which assists me to be able to work efficiently, effectively and independently with attention to detail with creativity to follow through on ideas to achieve the desired outcomes. A challenge is what drives me, as my number one drive in life is to be successful and be happy. I am a quick learner and wanting to grow within the business, share my knowledge and skills. Going above and beyond what is expected gives me great pleasure achieving personal and business objectives.

Good learning experience

Assists clients with there online gaming accounts via calls, emails and chats. It's good to interact with people from all over the world. The company is very diverse.

Excellent company

The environment is great, the shops are secure as we are not depended on the South African market therefore not being impacted by recession. Great skills development opportunities. The company has a great working environment and is very mature in the sense that we are not micromanaged. We get our work done and project manage the new products accordingly. The company is very open to helping each other. I personally feel that my passion is in the property industry. Therefore I wish to take on my dreams with no regrets.

Excellent company

Hard worker. Get along well with people. Love up-skilling. Love working with people. Contract position

I have taken on this contract position as I am Independently consulting. I hope to find a permanent position soon. The team are tremendous here and we all get along well. However, this particular contract is a short one and their client is reluctant to keep a resource for a longer period as it was not in their budget. My job description in my cv details all that I have done over the last few years and currently onsite. Kind regards, N

Enjoyable work environment.

The environment is enjoyable, staff are generally friendly. Overall experience has been enjoyable, however transparency seems to be lacking at the moment.

I would suggest applying for a position and making your own mind up about what kind of company this is, many people have had different experiences...............................................
