This job teaches you to become patient and customer friendly

At DSG/vumatel what I done is re configuring Configurations, Logging of Faults to technicians,Checking on the progresses of the calls, Troubleshooting and Testing fibre lines The relationship with my colleagues is more work related than social. I've learnt to be patient, be a team worker and to not give up . what I enjoyed the most is the other people on the floor that were working from different campaigns (they made work fun). The challenges i faced while working here is the IRATE customers.

Pros: I'd really love to see myself grow on the IT field. i would really love the company to groom me and make me a better person (not only in the IT sector but as an individual as well)
Cons: I don't mind working long hours and overtime

The best place that taught me customer service.

At first I didn't have hope I could be a customer consultant, till I stepped into DSG, where i started handling customers and starting to enjoy what i was doing because i knew what i was doing.

Fast learner, willingto be corrected and team player

I Xolani Khambule completed my certificate in Computer Technical Support at Rosebank College. I have worked for Kimsons tech as an IT tech and a cashier then after that did camera surveillance and software installation for MadMax prices, a diligent worker and take pride in all I do, I have done a leadership with ProductOne, system support NQF level5, I have worked for Aegis as a Telkom call center agent, logging faults and doing router configurations for the customers. I know that I can make a positive contribution to your company. over and above taking my work seriously, I also have the string, outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), as well as great interpersonal skills which make me a good team player. I believe that I am creative, a good listener, and I have the ability to work under pressure.

Excellent learning curve

I've worked for two major companies MWEB Business doing technical support for Business ADSL. Troubleshooting connectivity issues, Router configurations and mail support. Currently working for DSG support the AlwaysOn WiFi (Product of Internet Solutions) Here we troubleshoot all all kinds of devices ranging from Laptops, Tablets, Phones and all WiFi enabled devices Troubleshooting connectivity issues, browsing issues and mail support. My short term goal is to get my CCNA qualification. Always willing to learn all to improve my knowledge and skills.

Pros: Seeking new knowledge and skills.
Cons: No growth, long working hours and less money.

Learning Curve

Full on pressure. More work than Pay. No benefits. Colleagues are super nice. Managers are biased and personal. HR is not professional. The hours aren't a problem. What I hated the most was that there's no benefits. What I enjoyed the most was that there was someone to help (its my job)

A great learning curve

a normal work day at my current company is busy with very high call volume and a lot of I-rate customers Myself and my colleagues work in a team which strives for perfection so there is no social conflicts however if there is we manage it professionally I have encountered sales experience as well as IT and product knowledge and customer service experience rendering a service which customers rely on and helping employees and customers to meet their needs the most challenging aspect was working on a system which was not 100% manufactured and working under a slow pace

Pros: a bonus in December which is double the monthly salary i normally receive
Cons: hours which I worked were Ridiculous

Job Title: IS LTE Support/AlwaysOn Wi-Fi Support

It was nice working for the. Ompany but the management skill is low. Less growth opportunities aprt from rotating queues with same level of experience.

Pros: I would say, it was great expirience to work with different queue n cloud base queues and card machines.
Cons: Long hours, views not listened too and poor management

Good communication skills

Pros: it is a pleasure because it taught me a lot,it improved my communication skills,work under pressure and work without supervision
Cons: we work 8 to 9 hours ,when it's busy they can ask you to work double shift

Detail - oriented

I work in a high performance zone VCC. I enjoy the field I'm in as it allows me engage on a broader scale with our clients, not only do I assist our clients telephonically but do site visits which allows me to interact with our clients about our products and services face to face. I enjoy communicating with people on a daily basis professionally and socially and this job does that for me since we also communicate with our clients socially as well i.e Facebook, Twitter as well as through CRM.

Pros: I'm go over and beyond the call of duty and excel at what I do.
Cons: A lazy individual slows down my morale.

Good experience it teaches a lot of things.

It was a good work place until they hired the new HR Shantal and mewI operating manager Luvendra,the decreased out salaries even if we worked long hours they didn't want to pay over time anymore. The made that place a night mare and many people resigned.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn things
Cons: Long hours but no pay the new HR and operations manager came in and changed everything they didn't wanna pay us nd many people resigned
