managing a warehouse, all areas of the warehouse functions,hygiene,forklift operation, filling order,loading contains, all documentation associated with it. Receiving and dispatching raw materials and finished goods. Booking transporters. Supervising staff. Maintaining high levels of quality controls. stock accuracy and solving variances. excellent relationship with co-worker and sub-ordinates alike stemming from mutual respect and taking responsibility. Ive learned that once a plan is formulated, to follow through with that plan, especially when the warehouse is full. i have found my niche and im good at what i do. The most challenging aspect is the transporter but i've come to understand we should treat them as a customer and give them excellent service by making sure that their deliveries/loading happends as smooth and quick as possible.

Pros: Added responsibility as im the most senior person at the warehouse. Production happens in a completely different area
Cons: distance from Manufacturing plant

Best company I have ever worked for

Excellent company to work for. There is definitely room for growth and senior management treats all employees with respect. The culture at this company is great. I really enjoy working here as everyday is a busy day, you are never without something to do. With a staff compliment of almost 300, I am amazed at how litExcellent company to work for. With a staff compliment of almost 300, I am amazed at how little disciplinary action really needs to be taken. Pros: I have learned more at this company than through out my whole career and studies
Cons: It is very far from where I reside

Busy production environment.

A typical work day starts with a production meeting with the various shift supervisors. My relationship with my co workers is one of mutual respect. I have learnt to prioritize duties as issues arise. The most challenging aspect of my job is calling it a day, with production running 24 hours a day, the days seem to blend together.

Pros: Great learning curve
Cons: Long work hours.
