Its a busy working environment that you have to conduct your self in a work ethical manner all the time, We have team leaders that helps us grow in the Company one has a say and suggestions to where applicable, I have learnt a lot in this environment, that Clients need you to be most professional and understand, listen to them, what matters is making them feel in control, Challenges at first were convincing clients to pay on their debt but that's like peanuts now, I persuade them and make them see the importance of making payment make them believe its in their best interest to pay

Excellent learning curve

Placing between 100-150+ calls per day as a Debt Collector for numerous companies, assisting debtors in clearing their breach accounts through negotiation, and settlement of outstanding balances. Uncovering and diagnosing customer's financial difficulties.Utilizing analytical, interpersonal, and organization skills to achieve high level of customer repayments

Cons: small basic salary, no room for improvement, no promotions

EXPERIENCE GAINED

The basic salary is the issue at the present moment, other incentives are not so bad. Considering that you can make up to 15k worth of commission after adjustments. I have gained enough experience but now its time to fly and explore, get out of my comfort zone.

Good learning curve

sjpho A great environment to work in i have a profesional relationship with my co-workers i have a certificate in debt recovery through my work which also thought me a lot explaining the payment deals to the client is more exciting disputed to the accountd aof people who pretend not to know their debts

Building work experience

My job prescription is debt recovery working for the inbound department my duty is to log payment arrangements,negotiations for settlement offers,resolving queries, escalating pending queries. My motive is to be productive on a daily basis and to strive for the company's mandate that needs to be accomplished,and working with my colleagues makes me to be on my toes in terms of work performance and to have a respectful healthy working environment to serve customers on a clear state of mind.I have learned how to communicate effectively and to identify the clients needs and how to negotiate with the mandate provided to complete the job.The most challenging aspect is not meeting the team target due to clients that experienced financial constraints.

Good for learning.

I have learnt a lot being the link between Admin and Operations Manager. I mostly enjoy spending time in learning new things, as well as checking out that: is all that is needed 1. Signed, 2. Straight to the point and 3. Is it necessary to be there, and has the manager seen it. So that it can be sent to be approved. Getting to make sure that: asking and double checking, make you feel sure of what is acquired of you.

Pros: Wonderful opportunity in learning new things everyday.
Cons: I would say long hours, yes though getting you prepared.

Good learning curve

Its okay to work at DMC but if there could be enough transparency from the company bosses it would be much more better.co-workers are in a daily dealing with a lot of pressure having to push yourself to the core of your ability is not a child’s play so I wouldn’t regard them as friendly they just don’t have time for that luxury of nursing the second person feelings
