Assistant Bookkeeper

In my current position I am assisting our Accountant. I have also assisted the Financial Manager performing numerous duties including the processing of Journals to the Trial Balance In the past 7 years I have had extensive experience in Debtors and Creditors. My main advantage is that I have been able to follow the transaction trail from Sales Admin right through to Trial Balance. My knowledge of SAP is a bit rusty but I am a quick learner, My Word, Outlook & Excel skills is advanced. I have impeccable time keeping skills and work well with others, yet I am able to work independently. I am a self-starter who can think for myself. My attention to detail is beyond approach, however should I ever fail at something I can pick myself up and learn from the experience in professional manor. I am friendly yet professional. I strive to always give my best and to uphold the company’s values.

Communication is the key to Happy customers

A typical day is starting at 5:45 am. Processing receipts. Unblocking of accounts that are paid. Attending to phone calls with queries relating to accounts. Attending to urgent emails. Pulling the age analysis and notifying the sales ladies about outstanding payments. Opening up of new accounts. Doing credit checks. Checking up on credit limits. Sending of invoices to certain customers. Reconciling all problem accounts. Check of bank statement for incoming payments.

Learning experience

I would like to have more experience with your company and being a good access to the organization and willing to work overtime and I love to work as team work and make sure iam doing my job accordingly.
