Great working experience

Working with Down to Earth Civils has been a great opportunity for me as I was studying Civil Engineering at TNC and couldn't finish my course due to financial issues. They saw a potential in me and took me in to work with them even though I didn't have the qualification. As i was a junior foreman they trusted me enough to delegate some of the senior's work to me when he wasn't at work. We treated each other like family, we would eat together during lunch and some of our construction workers, contributing any amount that we have without judging those who didn't have money for lunch and buying food as one.. I have learnt to be a team player, and ensuring that workers do their job correctly. The most challenging thing was ensuring that workers do their job and wear their personal safety equipment as most them were older than me and were man. I had to come up with creative ways to have them to listen to me. What i enjoyed the most was their company and the conversations we had and working together as a team.

Cons: Working out doors in the sun and in winter

Was challenging but i've learned a lot.i have learned how to build Storm waters.

Had a good relation with my colleagues and my supervisor.loved my job because we didn't work on weekends nd holidays.i've learned a lot and I enjoyed.

Excellent performance and willing to learn more

Time efficiency and team player, I believe daily planning helps manage day to day pressure .Good communication in work place is important as well as being able to ask where you don't know.
