Great opportunity to learn
I am a professionally registered HR Practitioner with the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) with Worldatwork. I am currently working for DuPont as an HR Consultant, assigned to Pioneer Hi-Bred as an HR Manager. My role entails managing the entire HR function for Pioneer Hi-Bred, which includes advising the Business Unit Leadership Team and all employees on all HR related matters. I have previously worked for Lepelle Northern Water as an HR Consultant/ Officer, which was a middle managerial role. I believe that HR is a Strategic Business Partner that must continuously provide competitive solutions to the Leadership for the sustainability of the business. I have been exposed to the following HR functions; Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Organisational Design, Change Management, Employee Relations, Employee Wellness, Compensation and Benefits and Training and Development.

Excellent learning curve
working for DuPont requires one to always be on their toes, no time to be bored as one gets to deal with challenges everyday. Everyday brings new challenges and requires one to always think out of the box. With international exposure, one gets to understand other countries's cultures, benefits, what matters to the employees, labour law and eventually gets to meet different people on an on-going basis.
