I have learnt alot at Highbury Media.

On a typical day I am glued to my screen responding to emails and collecting information sent to me from RNA and Paarl Media and slot them into the appropriate files. I liase with our finance department and obtain invoices for all magazines that are printed and slot them into each file for each magazine. We have a submission every quarter and this is why I have to sit with each file for each magazine on a daily basis and I reconcile each month and have my directors go over each file to check my work before we submit every 3 months. Relationships at high bury are not only professional, we are like a family and thus we get along well. We have our ups and downs but we never make it impossible to work with each other. I enjoy the work environment and the Media industry. The most challenging aspect would be to always worry about how my directors are finding my workmanship to be as it is extremely hard to please them and although I give my job my all I have still been criticized over and over.

Excellent learning curve

It a good working environment and I like the publication I am working on. the hours are good and I have a good relationship with my colleagues. I have learned a lot e.g more experience in communicating with people. be able to assist companies to get involved the publication and gaining trust. picking up phone and help the company grow always the most thing I enjoy every time I get to work. the most challenging part is phone call systems struggling to get hold of clients due to high volume of calls.
