Challenging industry to work in at the moment but the company tries to not retrench.

The environment is stressful and employees aren't given any autonomy to make their own decisions because of the financial pressure the company is under. This results in a very unbalanced work-life ratio and people are leaving the company because of it.

Pros: The learning of business acumen and how to present the value to a customer
Cons: negativity and quick to blame when things get tight.

Good opportunity

I have learned so many things while working at Hilti. I am a senior in my role but find it very difficult to move up because i dont have the qualifications that are required.

Excellent products and services

A typical day starts with stock count and temperature monitoring and doing Recon. Once completed you would typically converse with any rep in the store and then assist any walking customers and provide them with a solution. I Have learnt that coworkers are very jealous and talk behind ones ba k in this company and if you are a target you will be worked out the door. There is a lot of favoritism in this company and makes it hard to grow is what I learnt.
