Good Working Environment

HospiceWits has provided a pleasant working environment despite the necessary demands on the tasks required and the KPA's necessary to meet the demands of the position. HospiceWits has gone through a number of transitions related primarily to financial constraints being a NGO and relying on the public especially in such trying economic periods. HospiceWits is a good place to work and grows an individual to find themselves and where possible supports all aspects of an employees growth. I have been given many opportunities and goals to achieve to improve myself and learn new things and skills. I believe that with the understanding of working at this NGO and knowledge that you are always working towards the good of something better, i.e. our patients, many of whom cannot pay for services, I have grown and developed a better appreciation of what HospiceWits provides and is about.

Great learning experience

I am a born Marketer with talents that of a shape-sifter, perforce. With Seven years’ experience in Marketing and gained valuable experience in project management representing and guiding creative management initiatives. This experience created a comprehension and attentiveness of complexities of a large marketing environment and enabled playing the role of leadership where maximum sponsor involvement and buy-in were necessary. Obtained extensive experience in the instigation and managing of projects and execution.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn and improve skills.
Cons: The NGO sectors are growing and we all go for the same donor pocket which makes it difficult for us to get funding and pay salaries.
