Excellent company to work for with values

Workshop supervision, Mentoring, Commissioning of outsourced work to contractors, Condition monitoring , Plant lubrication, are most of the tasks on a daily bases to ensure productivity is at a maximum. The relation between all staff is kept equal and fair as Huntsman encourages team work. The plant ensures daily tasks are not repeated as new challenges are always welcomed every day.

Pros: Lots of experience gained through various engineering challenges
Cons: Call out after hours

Great atmosphere at workplace

Company promotes respect among each other as collegues. It also has several motivational tools eg employee of the month, monthly shift braais if target met, production bonus, etc. It also promote safety of the employees, contractors, environment, neighbours, etc all these under zero harm umbrella.

Pros: Great working atmosphere
Cons: Canteen closed after hours

Excellent

Well unfortunately now the company just closed down but it has been the best company to work for. Communication wise it was easy to communicate with our managers, supervisors, colligues and our customers in fact we became a real family you will always look forward to wake up and go to work, learning and knowing different types of people, respecting each other and everyone was willing to learn and share their knowledge. I can say I have gained more interms of communication skill, respect at work place, working as a team and getting a lot of experience.

Pros: Well I was working in a laboratory as a shift laboratory analyst and there were less chances of promotion there.
Cons: Was working 12hours shift
