Marketing Assistant

My current job is very fast paced with a lot of focus on whats next and how things can be done bigger and better. My work day is very busy with a lot of emails, calls and meetings to attend to. I have learned a lot about the marketing and retail industry from working at Capegate Shopping Centre as well as events management. I enjoy compiling effective, high quality social campaigns as well as arrange online content from Facebook, Twitter, Website to Instagram. The most challenging aspects of my job is working with executive to properly understand the vision they have for a campaign and translating it into something that is workable. Another difficult aspect is working closely with tenants and owners of stores to try and assist with their monthly turnovers or general social/community awareness of their brand.

Pros: Opportunity to expand my abilities by taking on extra jobs within the company
Cons: Weekend work and late shifts

Personal Growth

Hyprop has limited diversity which makes promotions an reviews of personal performce hard. The department i am in, is very rigid , there is no room for creativity and the micro management and lack of acknowledgement is disheartening.

Pros: Hyprop has a good salary package and their intended process that they are working toward is great
Cons: Racial connotations and treatment.
