I have learned a great deal of the hardware industry and what it entails

i am responsible for all quality related issues, complaints completing non conformances. oversee the offload of containers and then correctly identified these stock with our own barcodes labels. i work totally on my own and report directly to the commercial department. anaylize quality problems and tracking them to the warehouse stock. I do quality inspection of all/ most of the incoming stock, though at times can become too much for one person only. every morning calibrate the scales and record their weights as per procedure. I am the back up Hyster driver to assist when needed. i also assist with the collection of stock and its delivery to customers if need be at times I write work instruction and training of new staff when we assemble the mortice locks again.

Pros: I have learned a great deal of different kinds of hardware and the assemble and knowledge of the Mortice door lock
Cons: no challengers and work become too monotonous

good company to work for , no micro management . corporate like environment having everything done by the book . wonderful office culture in certain departments
