Excellent Enviroment to Challange oneself, learn new things and oportunity to make a difference
I provide stakeholder consulting services on organisational development programmes. These range from facilitating performance management workshops, Partnering with stakeholders on setting performance indicators, offering advise on performance management monitoring and evaluation meetings. I thrive on team collaboration and caching and mentoring as this is a pivotal part of skills transference and building the internal talent pool. what I enjoy most about my current job is the opportunity to engage with and advise at the 3 levels of management (Executive Committee , Management Committee, Remuneration Committee and Council). I am able to engage with decision makers and inform, advise and influence decision at strategy level. The most challenging part of my job is that I'm in a one-woman team and have to do a lot of multi tasking and collaboration with all the key stakeholders in my deliverables.
Pros: great opportunity for upward mobility and appropriation of competencies across all areas of Human Resources
Cons: long working hours, extensive consulative process and with external stakeholders and long decision making channels.

Great learning curve
Administrator Position To whom it may concern: l am a lady who is self motivated, hard working and pays attention to detail. l have more that 10years experience in the administration department and therefore that comes with great skills. I enjoy what I do and the challenges
My Job entails working directly with people which is something I enjoy and also the pressure and challenges keeps me focused and looking forward to another day. I have a N. Diploma in Office Management and Technology from TUT and have more than 12 year of experience. My tasks include managing Diary, managing petty cash, organising meetings, preparing meeting pack and take minutes, organise workshops and events, prepare EXCO and OPCO documents, manage budget and Reconcile. It's very important for me to keep interdivisional relationships very healthy as we depend on each other to get the job done
Pros: I have learned a lot in terms of policy and regulatory issues and procedures
Cons: The Organisational structure needs some rework

Growth
the working environment is okay. challenges here and there. i have learned a lot and certainly grown. ICASA allowed me to spread my wings and can not work independently

Fulfilling yet environment can be non-condusive
The work I do is fulfilling, I am able to see the impact or its significance almost immediately and the ability to engage stakeholders is also a great experience. The work environment however can be non-conducive since the higher level management is not very supportive and even when things go wrong they support each other over lower level employees which makes the atmosphere stifling and unhealthy. The best thing to do is focus on the work and not the politics and people who think supreme of themselves or ill-treat others.
Pros: Possible promotion, training/development opportunities, bonus if you work hard and achieve deliverables
Cons: Lack of recognition, management taking glory over others hard work and efforts not appreciated

Working Environment
eing a graduate Internal Auditor at ICASA has given me exposure to a lot of audits, hense Im an intern I get to assist in different audits ie SCM HR CCA Legal and as a result I hve learnt so much in such a short period. The work I do can be challenging at times but as you get used to the methodology it becomes less stressful

Position review
in the cost modelling division, the relationship with my manager and co workers are decent and professional. it is quite but there are a lot of demotivated peers. I have learnt some management and leadership skills. the work load is minimal. The fact that the position is new makes it abit challenging as I would have to come up with ideas I enjoy the fact that my manager is motivating and encouraging. the company encouraging educational growth as it provides employees with bursaries for studying
Pros: Good promotion opportunities, alot of skills to be gained
Cons: employees have a low morale which affects all staff

I'm still learning, Since I have less than six months working here. I work well with others. so far we have been doing support and helping users with their day today challenges. the most challenging part is making users understand what is the problem, but its not a biggie
