My present designation is a Quality Engineer with IEC Holden and I was an Electrical and Mechanical Supervisor at ABB South Africa and have completed two 20 Mega Watt renewable energy solar projects on the Northern Cape in Copperton. I am experienced with the manufacturing processes of 295/300 high and low solar module assemblies with a company in Cape Town. My previous designation was an Electro-Mechanical Supervisor which I was responsible for maintenance and projects. I had been employed with the company for 4 years and in this period the company received a number of awards and accolades, notably Electrical Supplier to the clients. have championed (Junior Projects Engineer) a number of large projects with an annual turnover of R5 million per annum, which was inclusive of receiving the customer RFQ, feasibility during the technical review, costing with capex, letter of intent and meeting of all milestones measured by the project plan against the APQP process.

My workin day
Ilearned how to electrical motor are put together. My day is usually about 16 hours long including travelling. What I enjoy the most is to develop suppliers in all aspect of their processes aswell as their Quality Management system. I also enjoy Auditing the suppliers asthis gives you an overview og their processes as well as their systems and short falls. S normal day normally consists of one or more of the following. Supplier visits, Raise of engineering changes, Raise of non conformances, Review of eviewof PPAP documents, admin, Aproximately 6 hours travelling, Supplier QMS audits, Internal QMS audits, Review of suspect components, Compilation of montly Management bases on departmental performance.
Pros: I've learned a tremendous amount about how other company processes work.
Cons: Work ing hours is basically 7 days a week due to work load without any renumeration

Hard working, excellent learning curves
I am dedicated work person, willing to go extra mile in my job description. i enjoyed working with team so we can achieve a lot as well as contributing to the company. Through my theoretical and practical skills i have gained, i have saved a company a lot of money in projects. I love working in an environment where there is more challenges, it helps to gain more experience and make sure i complete my tasks in time.
Pros: Seeing myself as a professional Engineer in 5 years time
Cons: I have spent more than 24 hours non stop as the deadline was approaching, bear in mind there is fatigue.

Excellent in Traction Motors manufacturer
? Using Laths Machine to machine the Bend Bars of the Rotor as per drawing with a recommended angle taper with precision. ? Machining the Rings of the Rotors as per drawing, with close tolerance and close profile. ? Stacking the Lamination Plate “Assembling” to a recommended size, and put it into an oven at requested temperature and time. ? Dropping the Hot Rotor with temperature of 210 degrees minimum and 230 degrees maximum inside the cold shaft with temperature of 20 degrees maximum and press them together with the Pressure pressing machine. ? Swaging the Bars, bending the bars and brass the Rotor. ? Removing the aux pin inside the shaft using pressure pumps and press in the Pinion inside the shaft. ? Balancing the Rotor as required at the tolerance of ±4.

I'm young energetic person who has the ability to problem solving, good commutation skills, attention to details and ability to work alone and within the team, and also ability to take instruction from management and other team members,and maintain high levels of performance, and providing positive motivation example for other employees

Gained corporate experience
Have gained great knowledge from an international perspective ,exposure to larger boms than I have worked on in the past, have also learnt a great deal on the international quality assurance requirements in terms of defective part's, non conformances quality systems exceptionally great and thorough,excellent team workers, Extremely changeling fast paced environment
