Good contribution on working experience

Work with many different skilled artisans, boilermakers, pipe fitter and welders. International workers as well as local South African professionals. I weld pipes, all sizes and also structural welding. Main welding processes was Argon and stick. Love welding argon pipe butts. The most challenging part is the language barrier, as our Spanish and Colombian colleagues knows little or non English at all.

Pros: Great pay rates
Cons: Long hours

I learnt to get that there safely is better than production.

It hard working as as safety officer because you have to ensure safety at all the time. I have a good relationship with my colleagues and a good understanding as we work together. I enjoyed when the worker corporate and work according to safety standards. There are challenges as some workers do follow proper safe work standards.

Pros: I started of as a junior HSE and got promoted as the manager was impressed by my job.
Cons: Sometimes i am have to put in extra working hours to get job production on a safe manner.
