The company gave relevant exposure to all the departments.

Full daily schedule Good relationship with co-workers I have learnt many things eg. IR, labour planning & EE management I enjoy intetacting with employees on all levels Most challenging aspect of my job is the IR part.

OHS is a challenge

I start working at 05H00 in the mornings by either preparing documentation for my days visit or compiling reports for my previous audit. I will audit legal compliance by checking documentation of the appointed supervisors and then going underground and conduct legal compliance and adherence to standards in the relative work places. During this visits i will conduct a lot of coaching and training on procedures and standards and even stop crews to fix deviations immediately. I've learnt that no two persons perception of a dangerous situation will be the same. The part of my job that I enjoy the most is to couch and train people and to open their minds and perspectives about Safety. But this is still the greatest challenge in our industry as people are not easily pursued to change their perspectives and attitude if this behavior is not part of their daily conduct away from the work place.

Good company to work for

I enjoyed working for the company but I decided it was time for me to grow and develop as a person since I have been working for the same department for over 9 years
