I am driven to learn and excel in my career.
My company is dynamic. We have specialised departments. Controllers ensure their orders are scheduled with transporters, they see to it from the time orders are placed, executed until delivery. Our junior team ensures vehicles are tracked at all times, providing ETAs to customers, they track the vehicles within SA and crossborder. Loads are captured on our TMS system, invoiced when PODs are delivered. Managers and Assistant managers ensure the flow of communication between stakeholders. We have our in house clearing department. We have a warehousing division focusing on our FMCG clients. We have other branches looking after local businesses. I have learned to work honestly, and being loyal in a difficult industry. I have worked with great people and acquired good leadership skills and confidence. I have learned to worked efficiently in a team and enjoyed the trust to work independently. The most challenging aspect of my job is to align transporters' service level to ours since it is a reflection of ours.
Pros: Reputable company with competent employees.
Cons: Too specialised, and flat structure.

Excellent learning
I am Jeffrey Moteke, I completed my matric on 2007 at Erasmus Monareng Secondary school in Vosloorus. Then I furthered my education at one FET collage name E.W.C in Germiston doing mechanical engineering from 2008-2010. Completed my mechanical engineering N6. Then later on on the 21/11/2010 I got an apprenticeship at Imperial Logistics then I complete in year 2014 on the 20th of June. I was then appointed permanent on the 01/08/2014-current. Now I am doing field service permanent at my work place and I have gained lot of experience on trucks and trailers I worked on. I've worked on the following trucks: International, Freightliner,Volvo,Scania,Nissan IDs, Hino truck and M/Benz.
Pros: I have been a very motivating person with perseverance and faith, always strive to succed and I don't give up easily, I am friendly but strick when comes to work. I have learned lot of Engines and all repairs from the trucks cab to the tail. I've done several Cylinder head and inline overhauling, gearbox services, differential transmissions and drive trains, clutches and all assemblings, pneumatic system and electrical
Cons: Our normal working hours is 09hour hrs per day but since I am doing standby I work more than normal hours a day sometimes it happens that I work 24hrs but that depends on number of work load

Great opportunity and growth
I started as a checker and loader its was hard work and long working hours and it was in refrigerated services but it was a good learning curve and within 3mnths I was promoted to debrief clerk which took me on a journey of what happens behind the scenes in logistics and refrigeration services. Plenty of growth and team work long hours but worth it and I want to continue on that path.

Good learning enviroment
I have approximately 4-5 years of experience in a variety of fields including event planning, administration and freight haul. I’m currently based at a logistical company, working as a Logistics Operations Supervisor and prior to that I have done my logistical management internship for a yearlong period. In addition to my extensive Logistics operations/office and driving experience, I have strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills. I strongly believe in my work ethic and wish to further one’s self given the opportunity. My broad background in retail and courier based companies’ makes me an excellent candidate for this position

I'm have over 15 years transport experience my current fleet is 34 different vehicles
Currently do fleet maintenance,control diesel on Fmsa, working on mix telematics,book my fleet for services with our workshop,Rtms approved,I make sure of my service schedule .

I'm fast learner, Always put my duties first
i like a challenged, always prepare myself for the worst always keeping myself busy no matter with what it is. Always have a good working relationship with my co workers as to put work first and the back stabbing by the door. I have learned extremely a lot such as the duties what I did and went the extra mile. Always looking forward to going to work as to see what's new, I love working with people who can make my day, but I make my day the moment I leave my home. Its when the rush comes in to start off my day. My daily challenge was a bit hard as drivers always took everything for a joke play then work and hardly took note of there duties as i was the one that helped them through the day to get the work done at the end of the day the work was correct and completed.
Pros: i always go for that extra mile to get something in life
Cons: I am prepared to work over the time that's required of me

Work hard, you'll reap the rewards later, and don't forget to have fun in the process.
You will be given tasks you don’t like or find boring. Oftentimes, those tasks contribute to something larger and more important for the business, so it may take a while to see the fruits of your labour. It’s OK from time to time to get up from your desk, walk around for a bit and ask your co-workers about what they’re doing. You don’t truly become part of the work environment by staying at your desk all day and trying to get everything done by yourself. And your eyes and legs with thank you for it when you've spent all day sitting at a desk and looking at a computer screen. If a task seems too overwhelming, take a moment, breathe and plan out a way to break the large task into smaller ones. You’ll find the job much easier to do if you set smaller goals as you go.

Excellent learning experience
My day to day chores include filing sending spread sheets and preparing for trucks coming back from deliveries. My relationship with co workers is open and honest working together towards a common goal which is success and problem solving. The fmcg industry and transport industry is a complex industry but when you have a better understanding through training and on the job experience it makes it worth while and as for challenges you can ask for help and not make hasty decisions.

good working relations with staff. good team players and hard working individuals. the is well organised and very well looking after its employees. the company is also driven successfully with different cultures and values.
