Strengthened my leadership values

It was a great opportunity for me to play the leading role, even guided my superiors and shared my knowledge of the industry. The project was all about changing the lives of the people and its what I loved the most. Pressure was always there and Its what I also loved, because I believe pressure brings out the best of me. As for growth, unfortunately. There wasn't any room for that in my view.

Pros: Imparted a lot of my skills and knowledge, since I happened to be the one who understood the industry more

Excellent opportunity in a new and exciting sector

I learnt to build excellent customer relations based on trust n commitment in making the lotto experience successful for all involved from the customer to retailer to myself n my company.

Pros: Alot of opportunity for self growth n to grow with experience and knowledge whuch comes from this job
Cons: After 5 more years the licence expires and so will my employment contract.

Fast paced environment

Ever changing environment. Typical work day involves daily plan implementations. Coworkers are hungry to please for career advancement purposes. I have learnt that the industry is a fast paced and is an always online environment. What I enjoy the most is witnessing those who deserve it the most receive life changing opportunities. The most challenging aspects are the long hours.

Pros: Great opportunity for career advancement
Cons: Company culture is non evident

Great learning experience

Great working space, alot was learned from work for Ithuba. The team I worked with was also great thought me how to navigate the call center and customer service space.

Pros: Great exposure to organizations how they work
Cons: Limited or little growth opportunities
