My day starts at 8;30 and end at 17;30. Receiving and dispatching stock were my first duties in the morning. Reconcile inventory , and ensure all e mails are read and being responded accordingly. I had 6 staff members that I worked with reporting direct to me. Organizing stock takes is one of the most challenging functions in the business. I have learned that in receiving you need to be diligent and attentive to details. Everything starts in the receiving area. Customers comes first I came to learn that they are very important in the business.

Pros: 2014 promoted to be a receiving manager
Cons: peak trade period very demanding

I have learned to understand customers needs, able to delegate and provide leadership.

As a retail manager you understand customers needs and able to fulfil them. Working with diverse team and lead with passion. My day start at 8;30 and ends at 17;30, i have a dedicated team of six performing different dutied to achive company's vision. The most challenging part is preparing stock takings.

Pros: chanses are very high now that i am on learnership
Cons: only on stock takings
