I would like to grow with a company that is growing

I love working for this company. Its a small group of people. We like a family. However, about a year ago the company retrenched seven people. That was a big shock as we didn't see that coming. From there more and more were retrenched. My work day. I work with tour guides and drivers. We deal with operators on a daily basis. Our company sells diamonds and jewelry to foreigners. Our target market is Chinese and Americans. The tour guide brings his guests to buy jewelry then we pay the tour guide/driver a commission on the sales. My job is to check the sales of the previous day, cash received and if the amounts for the previous day was all banked.I send an sms to the guide/driver to collect his fees. I check that all our creditors is paid,EG Telkom, Vodacom, ect. I make sure that we have enough perishables Eg, Suger, Toiletpaper and cleaning materials. On a monthly basis I send the roster and leave documents to our HR in JHB. Challenging aspects, i work till six at night

Pros: I don't work weekends
Cons: Long working hours, no growth

My working environment is very target efficient service orientated environment.

GEtting along with co workers is crucial cause we share the commissions. Hence one hand washes the other. I have always been leveled as the most patient and normally my day to day attraction tends to get into the most demanding Clemente which I mostly get out triumphantly.

Pros: Very satisfying to see happy clients and getting a good commission
Cons: There is no space of growth

Great skill development process

I was involved in marketing and business development. My primary role was to to build and maintain relationships with international travel agents , tour guides , tour operators and hotels. I was also actively involed in sales , stock-taking , marketing administration, business development and internal and external events.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours in the evening
