Its the best opportunity for me to grow career wise

I am currently working as a Portfolio Officer / Property Manager at Johannesburg Housing Company since October 2014 for Residential and Commercial Portfolio. I have five working experience as a Property Manager from City Property in Pretoria. I have 7 building managers that are currently reporting to me and 8 office staff members. I manage the entire portfolio from Letting out of the units, Maintenance in the units, Arrears of the Portfolio and Approval of payments for the invoices of the Service Provider. I manage the monthly Income Versus Monthly Expenses and report on the monthly variables to the Senior Management Team. I have currently completed the Programme in Property Management through the University of Witwatersrand, I have completed the Diploma in Financial Management through Unisa in 2006 & Certificate in Bookkeeping in 2004. Pros: it has been the best for me and i have enjoyed working in that company but i believe i need to grow as an indiviadual
Cons: As Property Manager it becomes part of your life to work extra hours and always be oncall

Excelent learning curve

Nothing much to say for now, its a very good company to work for. Company that takes care for tis tenants and its staff. Good employees within the company where everybody acts as a member of one big family.

Carrier Growth

Johannesburg Housing Company is a very good company to work for as they are taking good care of employees interms working conditions and assistence interms of growth educationally and benefits such as medical aid. Continous training to keep us uptodate and maintane the standard of rendering good service and keeping a good relationship with fellow employees r colegues.

The intelligent

My daily routine is to make sure that the building is well kept, managing stuff on site including service providers. Daily maintenance check and report. Deal with social incidents, rental follow ups, enrolment of biometric access control and security cameras. I always avail myself to team members for assistance. Customer care is what I have learnt that is very much important.

Pros: Willing to learn for any opportunity coming up.
Cons: I use to work even after hours to attend emergencies
