Failure of my pipes at x rays gave me more confident nand skill
I am a double coded qualified welder working for john tjompson boiler solution.i have a section 13 red seal which i have obtained with murray and roberts.i can be able to work with ir without supervision.withstanding pressure is what i do.i do also love to work in a more challenging area and learn new tjings everyday
Pros: I woukd like to be a QC one day
Cons: I can work overtime if it is availble as i am always sober

Excellent experience on various different plants.
Working with different Managers on different projects has taught me how to deal with and handle different personalities. Handling the risk control aspect of projects from the packing and transportation of material and equipment to establishing site and thereafter proceeding with the commencement of work has been my responsibility for the last 5.5 years. Each project has been a new challenge andoit comes with its hurdles that have to be dealt with and overcome swiftly and professionally, but sometimes is not the case due to management not providing the necessary support needed. Apart from that i love what I do and always strive to create a harmonious work environment.
Pros: The knowledge and experience gained is priceless
Cons: Working seven days a week and away from home on occasion

Volatile fast paced environment
Company core working hours are from 7:30 to 16:30. I usually clock in at 6:30. Evaluate my work for the day, then start working (Designing and completing drawings, liaising with engineers, attend meetings). As the day progresses, and if I am under pressure, I usually try and provide my superiors on the progress of my current tasks. I usually try and make use of tea times(10am and 15:00pm @15min) and lunch time (13:15pm @30min) for coffee breaks and eating. On a normal day I would work until 17:00 – 18 : 00pm. This would be a typical day.

Good learning curve
Good company Site Supervisors need more experiance and instrumentation supervisor needs more qualifications Overall the experience working for John Thompson a div of ACTOM is not to bad

Upward learning curve as exposure to different environment
Travelling and meeting different types of client and each and every site has its own challenges . the project manager must at all time think outside the box.

I am able to work long hours and travel , I enjoy challenging and learning.
My typical work days starts with checking emails between 6-7am , following up on the critical ones then proceed to daily chores which are listed in my previous action list
