People orientated organization that promotes work life and family balance. Work across sectors in both the manufacturing and the commercial business. Young organization that is constantly changing and implementing improvements in production and streamlining administration. I have learnt to deal with contractors, especially the management of labour brokers and dealing with the intricacies of their employees. Management Union meetings also allows for employee issues to discussed before they become disgruntled.

It is a great learning place as you are exposed in a big GMP environment and also wide range of manufacturing and testing samples complying to the required standard procedure for each particular product.

I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Independent Environmental Health Practitioner, I am registered with the Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa (MVSSA) as an Associate, and I am also registered with the Southern African Institute of Occupational Hygienist (SAIOH) as an Occupational Hygiene Assistant. I am also registered with The Institute of Safety Management (IoSM) as an Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner, and I am registered with South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health as an Occupational Health and Safety Professional. I am registering with the SACPCMP as a Construction Health and Safety Manager.

Great learning experience
I have been exposed to numerous projects besides my daily activities. Such as reporting the departmental performance and also having to spend time on the line in order to bridge the communication gap, also having to find ways on how to reduce production waste. Continuous improvement was my daily drive finding ways to make the production process more effective.

working under pressure and with a team. you learn to assist the team mates and on what they do as well in order to assist when the other team mate is no available. Target driven; willing to learn new things everyday. different people need different assistance and one needs to learn how to deal with each challenge

The experience I got was to be delegated as a Responsible Pharmacist.
My typical work day was to manufacture an antiseptic liquid following a batch document. One of my duties was to review and update the documents. As a delegate Responsible Pharmacist my duties were to observe if all personnel adhered to the cGood Manufacturing Practices with regard to manufacturing, document auditing, and in-process quality tests. These duties were done: ensure consistent compliance to all quality activities, liaise optimally with product testing laboratories, to ensure quicker turnaround times of results to release products.
