What I have learnt at Jotun Paints

To work at Jotun Paints are exciting interesting and very helpful in a way of learning and gaining experience. I started working for Jotun almost a year ago, where I had no front desk reception experience. neither did I know how to handle a switchboard, how to do data capturing, how do filing and I only knew the basics of a computer. But now I am capable of handling the reception area all by myself. I would have been able to do all this if it was not for the help and support of my co-workers. They helped a lot in any kind of way. Whenever I did not understand, no one ever hesitated to help. I enjoy every moment at my work place even though I know their are some difficulty in each and every company, I work my way around every situation. The most challenging aspects in my workplace was when I had to get training on the companies system but I managed to figure it out. Currently the most challenging aspect are expected difficult customers which I manage to handle.

Pros: Dedication and Hardwork
Cons: I am capable of working long hours.

Exciting challenges and problem solving

Daily I am in communications with our customer service team with regards to urgent orders and I provide feedback on status of goods. Some days can be challenging but we have a great team from where we draw from each others knowledge and skills.

Excellent learning curve

Jotun is a great company with great people and good company values, most challenging aspects is site audits. Working for Jotun is like I am still at the University because I'm learning new things everyday.

Pros: Great opportunities for promotion
Cons: less room for mistakes
