Overworked and under payed

Retail is a very hectic industry. More work and less pay. It demands all your time but you do not see results. I have learnt to work under pressure expecialy when we under staffed. Work well individually and as a group. Working here has given me the opportunity to be able to improve my communication skills,am now able to connect with any individual. Most of my co workers are very pleasant to work with. I have grown masively when it comes with dealing with customers. It is challenging but also educating. Having worked in the company for 3years i do not see growth within the industry. I am skilled but not given the oportunity to grow.

Many duties are given but salary remains constant

The job im given has got lots of duties im doing a three guys job at once for instance i driver hyster at the same time attending customers when they arrive with returns i have to write the invoice then record it to the system then after repack the stock returned to its rightful place

Cons: Too much workload and underpaid

Growth in business also growth as a person

Jumbo Cash and Carry is a great company with strong values, the people are humble down to earth, a great working environment. But their marketing is not aligned with the company goals and currently the one that I work for is currently not doing well because of managerial issues with are making things unpleasant and people are loosing their jobs. Now am thinking about my future

Pros: Employers are great people and the colleagues are the best
Cons: No opportunity for growth or promotion
