Amazing teamwork, excellent customer service

A average workday consists of checking payments, following up on property maintenance, a bit of Canvassing and keeping both home owner and tenant happy, loading newly listed properties, and staying on top of market trends. My relationship with my co-workers is absolutely amazing, as we are just one big family, everyone is there for each other, all the time. I have learned so much about property and property trends. Furthermore Just Property is always 1 step ahead of the rest, by ensuring every aspect from an e-mail right up to a personalised, extremely user friendly Web page. I simply love that we can work together and still be JUST yourself. The most challenging aspect of my job being a Personal Assistant, is to ensure that we provide an excellent customer service, while trying to fix what others have done wrong, regaining the trust of clients that have been receiving a raw deal elsewhere.

Great potential to learn the property market

I enjoy the property industry, but as it is commission only and changes continuously it is not stable. After a house gets sold it can take up to 3 months to register and therefore I only get paid then. This job has taught me a lot and I meet so many people but it can also get very cut-throat as there are an enormous amount of agents in my area. I have established another home from home within our company and get on well with my colleagues. The canvassing and looking to get a mandate from a potential seller is the most difficult part of the job but once you have the stock its very rewarding and challenging especially when the seller and buyer sign the contract. I do however enjoy sales repping more and the stability of a monthly salary is to me more important at this stage. I am therefore trying to move from this industry and back into a company with security.

Learnt alot and now have more experience

Receptionist, filing, making appointments for my manager, Pastel,Petty Cash,scanning,selling electricity,loading files and archiving files on a daily base. I am a hard working person.I have a good understanding with all my collegues, I mind my own business and respect all my collegues. I have learnt alot on how to work on different types of programs, I can work on Pastel, Propworx and microsoft programs without getting training I work on that propgrams everyday. Frontdesk, because you meet different types of characters everyday, and answering the phone, learning how to handle a difficult customer. Your worknever ends you are constantely busy. Excellent learning curve

My daily tasks include listings, data capturing, re-signs of contracts, file including ITC check, receptionist duties, key control, etc. I have a very good relationship with my Co workers, because I am also agent support, so I have trust and support of and from them. I have learnt quite a lot. A lot of responsibilities, how to work with clients and house listings, more reception duties and being a PA, I have to do most things such a filing,planning, daily feed back, etc. I really do enjoy working with people the most. Being able to prove myself and working hard.

Stil enough time for personal life

The perfect work for yourself feeling Flexible hours Not a stressful office Come as you are do what you do Work for yourself build your own salary No need to be at office work on the road Meet and interact with alot of different people You need to know how to adjust in diverent conditions and conversations you need to learn how to read people

Varied skills required in Property Management Industry

Updating of information of owner and tenant files on computerised database. Reconciled statements for owners and tenants from bankstatements of company according of payments received. Insure property letting folders are kept up to date according to required documentation. Files for new business(property) received from agents complies with standards. Strict and Detail Financial Management as well as customer satisfaction both owner and tenant. Communication with all levels and spheres of the community. Working with people. Customer satsfaction and compliance to standards and requirements.

An excellent way to begin a new career

I enjoyed a break in the property industry with this franchise. There was a personal tutor assigned to take me through the ropes and that made me look forward to learning something new everyday.My other colleagues were very helpful whenever there was a need for assistance. I learnt the legislative, financial and paralegal operations of my career quickly.I enjoyed working hard to get new business and all the negotiations going with it. Remuneration splits were a bit lower to the effort.I enjoy interaction with the buyers and sellers and ultimately the end result of putting a roof over a family.

I am always learning

We do rental and sales for houses and apartments. what we do we find landlords and ask to find tenant for their property and after approval we find suitable and qualified clients for them. When it comes to sales we market for client who are selling or willing to sell their property for investment of for other reasons and sell their properties to serious buyers.

Everyday has it's own difficulties to solve and it lets you be on your toes.

Get files out for payments, follow up on owner and tenants payments. Very Good; that it's not difficult to talk to people; For people to give recognition; To get all the correct information from owner and tenant to be loaded correctly on the system.

Pros: Great oppertunity for development if you young in the business

Good learning curve

A typical work day is very busy and always comes with new challenges. Not everyday is the same. My co-workers are great and we help each other where ever we can. I enjoy doing the ads the most.
