Great learning opportunity

This place will give you an opportunity do dive into the sales and office work experience. With lovely people to work with and great remuneration. You need to be willing to respond fast, keep all your customers happy and service them everyday to increase sales.

Pros: Good pay, great learning curve, good people
Cons: Stock issues you need to answer for.

By having more then 6years of experience in warehousing i would like to start at a more effective and efficient rate as given by company but you have to work hard and more gain experience in the departments and the systems

Eg good stepping stone towards success.

typical work day starts with checking the previous days work. checking which orders are ready to go out today. checking mails i didnt get to the previous day. processing orders. transfer of stock to our others branches. loading sales orders. assisting reps with eta of stock and when orders will be delivered. checking on couriers on when stock is going to be delivered.

Pros: good working enviroment.
Cons: no room for growing beyound a certain point.

Lasec is a company that sells laboratory equipment all over Africa

During the 6 years that I've been there I became the most skilled person in the warehouse. By being skilled and knowing more than anyone there I feel I need to move on to a more challenging part. Even if it means I have to leave my friends behind to succeed.

Pros: Working for lasec is nice to have people who is friendly and kind and being in an inviromemnt that u can enjoy your work every day and be yourself
Cons: The Cons are just the fact that the management don't see how hard u work and tend to over look stuff when it comes to rules that is set in place

Lasec SA is a family based company

A typical day at the office is getting my driver out for deliveries and start with Cycle counts. We have a very well relationship between co workers we all understand our abilities to work and to have fun I have learnt that communication in a company is crucial as it can cause work issues if it is not followed through properly Being independent and a self starter Getting the Inventory to balance after counts was done

Excellent learning curb

A typical day is preparing for anything my relationship with my co-workers are moderate and learnt a great deal as a person and what I enjoy is that there is constant sharing . The most challenging part is communication don't say to much and don't say to little things can get tricky when to much information is provided

Pros: Great opportunity for a starter
Cons: Growth tales to long moving up the corporate ladder
