Excellent envronment where I acquired skills and career growth

Typical day at work is a morning meeting everyday at 8.15 sharp. I get to work an hour before to prepare for the region I am covering. Staff are very friendly and generally an easily learning environment with the heads more than willing to train me. I have improved in presentations. I am able to take out important points in news articles as well as integrated annual reports and give a short summary of salient points to the traders. I also do Proxy voting recommendations, covering the top 100 SA companies by market cap. This has really helped me analyse reports thoroughly, especially on how company's remuneration report, I can advise if i think the remuneration report is robust or nor etc and give areas where disclosure can be improved.

Great learning opportunity

At Legae I had a very great learning opportunity. It is a small firm with very little opportunities for growth, however, the experience is invaluable. I had a very good relationship with my peers and the seniors. The support structure is very great.
