Great learning curve

My work includes doing administrative work , Microsoft office plays a large role , drafting legal pleadings and documents, litigation in court , it also requires a lot of research , giving legal advise to people. strong sense of working in a team however must be able to work independently. outcome driven and certain targets must be made and compliance plays a large role in doing the deliverables. My work is also client driven and customer satisfaction is very paramount. My work as 95% of the work done is based on the client. I have had a good working relationship with my co-workers. The environment is very professional. challenge would be there is a lot procedural changes within the organisation. changes are sometimes made without prior notice which may sometimes cause some difficulties

Pros: great opportunity to work independently , you grow as a individual and the expertise you learn from the work are great

Excellent learning curve

i was exposed to a wide variety of roles. from non-litigious matters to litigious matters. i received a practical application of law experience. i had to learn to adapt faster and think on my feet. although the work load was voluminous, one had to learn strategies of keeping up with deadline and improve productivity.

Pros: GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GROW
Cons: long working hours with out overtime payment.

Its one of the best employers exposing its employees to the legal sphere

It was an excellent company which exposes young proffessionals to the law fratenity. It further gave me court and litigation exposure. It exposes one to the culture of speed efficiancy and accountability. It also gave me confidance to tackle any legal matter comming my way. Getting used to working underpressure.

Pros: No micro management
Cons: Overworked due to lack of staff

Excellent learning and more experience gained in the field

Legal aid is a good working environment were we interact with our customers on a daily basis assisting them with all their legal problems. But in an IT environment our customers are our colleagues which we assist on a daily basis and we have a good working relationship with them. i have acquired a lot of experience at the organisation .

Pros: It was a great honour to work with them
Cons: normal hours
