Excellent learning curve and expanding my experience in Retail world.

The Lentes and Marcos is not a very big company but it has a potential to grow, it might be just a sunglass company but we even have franchises all over the world and that’s where we make most of our turnover. We sell the Spanish design sunglasses. My job as a manager I do salaries insuring that want an every employee is getting paid what they worked for, stock loss control, stuff disciplinary, buying,banking and scheduling staff. The fact is I’m willing to grow in the world of retailing,many people see Retail as just selling and standing on a POS but theres more than that and I’m willing and humble waiting to expose myself to everything through economic development.

Good and productive

The Lentes and Marcos is a good company which is still growing bigger and selling franchises aswell, it is a small company will good potential to grow, we selling sunglasses from Spain and we make sales every single day. The reason why I want to leave it’s bcs I’m look for a new beginning to expand my knowledge in ratail management and use my qualifications more willingly.

Great work environment

Had a great team, a good work environment. Learnt a lot and grew experience in sales, I experienced the sales environment and what it entails. Long hours and being moved from location to location. Worked really hard and met targets even without a solid commission structure. Was given the opportunity to manage and supervise staff which was a great learning curve. It opened the doors to leadership roles

Stepping stone to my goals.

Its a very fun and professional work environment. The stuff is cool to work with. Clients come in and go out, parcels being collected by our couriers. I love working in the company, the management are very appreciative. The most challenging aspect is that I am part of the new staff in the office so we sometimes clash with ideas with what needs to be changed in the office and all.

Pros: Great opportunity
Cons: The company is situated in a place that is not conducive for me. Its in Jet park where its the majority of men that work in the area and they always throw nasty comments every single day I walk passed
