Leratong nursery school is a non profit organisation funded by both health and social development, the business was opened roughly around 2003. The business was said to being a mother and daughter business as I worked hand in hand with my mother to help grow the business. Working with children and parents throughout the day was exciting together with 4 other coworkers as we got along just fine, bonding as a family together with the children. We ensured a safe environment for all. I enjoyed being in control of giving my input in making decisions and ensuring everything is in order and on point. The mist challenging part was persuasion to funders, heavy paperwork and meeting deadlines and also doing ypyr job, this helped me learn how to work well under pressure while getting the job done. It also made me understand society and many different aspects of giving back within your community.
