Opportunity for growth

Oliphant is a graduate technologist in the field of mechatronics engineering with more than five (5) years work experience in process control and instrumentation for mineral processing and industrial plants. Over the years, he has acquainted himself with process flow diagrams (PFD’s), P&ID’s cable block development through the use of Auto CAD, Solid Works, Smart Plant and Aveva instrumentation software’s. Furthermore, he is responsible for the development of field instrument list, IO List, instrument and power cables selection, cable schedule and loop diagram, field instrumentation technical specification and data sheet. As part of his hands on he was involved of wiring panels, T2 tester and simulator for Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. Oliphant is willing to expand his knowledge in process design and practice in the field of Control and Instrumentation.

Exciting people to work with.

It is a bit challenging to work with people who hardly communicate important changes. Things change everyday so it is a fast paced work environment. Not company culture.

I have a huge passion for the industry i am in.

I have the utmost respect for my colleagues and team leader. Everyday is a different challenge, i enjoy resolving all issues timeously and i am happy to take on any additional work. I`m always available for emergencies and standbys. I love my career path i have chosen, i have a huge passion for my career.

Pros: Awesome opportunity for international exposure, challenging and rewarding when the job is completed.
