Decent learning curve

Working as a sales consultant at Edgars, In Sandton has been quite the interesting experience. I have learned a lot about providing effective customer service and meeting target sales. This ranges from making sure my department looks neat and presentable at all times and making sure stock in on hand for customers at any given moment. The corporate culture is one that leaves mixed emotions, as you work with a lot people and not everyone is as driven to achieve but rather working for sake of surviving. The lack of proper remuneration and care for employees is evident in the attitude of employees as they work for the sake of survival rather than job fulfillment. The job itself is draining as most time is spent at work making it difficult for one to balance work and one's personal life. I personally feel no fulfillment in working this job as the opportunity for growth is close to none in the company.

Excellent learning curve in fast pace no supervision environment

-great learning curve -space to work at own pace with target -friendly staff, family vibes -good incentives -learnt how to deal with different clientele -learnt to work hard even without supervision -not having proper transport to go out is difficult.

Average experience

Working at levi’s has its ups and downs. I am a hard working individual each day we need to make a certain amount of sales and make sure that the store is neat at all times we all have certain section to see too. My relationship with my co-workers isn’t exactly on good terms as I don’t stand for wrong doings and reported things to my manager such as relationships within the work place . What I’ve learn working at levi’s is that you need to be independent and not go after friends but to focus on your goal and that’s to achieve better in order to get out of retail. The most challenging aspect of working at levi’s you have to have a thick skin in order to deal with people daily
