Lima Rural Development Foundation Reviews

Learning curve

A typical work day involves working on accounts and invoicing for about 30 projects I believe I have a very good relationship with my coworkers as my work involves working with coworkers daily I've learnt a lot from Lima; in the financial department and other departments as I deal with diverse projects I just enjoy my job and being in the finance department Finance is my passion What is most challenging about my job would be not being able to do my work on time always because of delays from other staff members

Pros: Opportunity for promotion
Cons: 8hrs

Great oppertunity

Cannot plan your day, always the unforseen sneaking in whe deadlines are to be met. Good relationship with co-workers irrespective of any challenges that arise. A great deal of NPO operations; different projects and implications. I enjoy my work, as I know exactly what is expected of me and giving service excellence to suppliers, but the funder that pay suppliers are not living up to their policy, rules etc. which is a negative on my employer and myself. this is the most challenging situation I ever encountered in my work history, whereby I have no control over situations whereby rules are made and not kept by the ones who made them.

Pros: no Internal promotion, people are employed from external, no room for growth, I outgrew my post.
Cons: Quite reasonable hours, but any overtime worked - no payment.

I am highly motivated individual.

I have been working of Lima for 7 years now. I have a good relationship with co-workers (field workers and office workers). I have learnt a high level of confidentiality, confidence, and the way of dealing with different people at different levels. What I enjoy the most is interacting and creating relationships with people outside Lima (hotels, car hires, etc). The most challenging aspect of the job is dealing with retrenchments.

Pros: Room for growth
Cons: Retrenchments
